U.S. wants more guns in hands of youths

Across the country local, county, state & federal government agencies are creating programs to increase the numbers of youths with guns. For over a decade agencies have been seeing a drop in hunter numbers, which mean a drop in licensing fees or profits for some agencies. Because of this agencies are creating youth hunting or apprentice hunter programs to increase the hunting population which will bring more profits to government coffers.

If the U.S. wasn’t the world leader in murders, gun violence and imprisonment in large part because of guns & drugs this push to increase youths with guns would be understandable. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 2011 guns were used in 68% of murders. Since the early 1990’s gun violence has decreased while at the same time mass shootings have become deadlier. Is this because perpetrators are now more skilled at using guns?

In an alleged meeting FBI Director Christopher Wray told attendees, “Of course there will be more shootings of innocent civilians around the country, even with this reality our agencies need to exist, so compared to closing agencies or keeping them open, there’s no choice. Civilians must die so we can stay open for business. Besides if we arm law abiding citizens and criminals it’ll be a stalemate and never forget it’s mostly the poor & people of color dying, who cares about them they’re not making America great again”.
